National Business Development Executive

Job Description

A dynamic workers’ compensation managed care cost containment company is seeking a National Business Development Executive to sell software and services to insurance companies, TPA’s and self-insured employers throughout the nation. The right candidate will possess a proven track record in meeting and exceeding sales targets through effective prospecting, qualifying and closing sales throughout the nation. Through consultative selling, the National Business Development Executive will be expected to analyze the sales opportunity and develop a strategy to best meet the prospects business needs through software, services or a combination of both offerings.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement and execute an annual sales plan to meet specific market share growth targets
  • Establish and maintain relationships with C-level decision makers
  • Conduct sales presentations and software demonstrations
  • Maintain a high level of product and competitive knowledge
  • Identify and monitor industry trends and changes
  • Manage contract negotiations
  • Working effectively with Operations, Account Management and Executive Management to support the growth and development of business revenue and profitability

Position Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree and 10 yrs of exp. in Sales in worker’s compensation medical cost containment with a proven track record of success. A strong knowledge of the principles, terminology and practices of the workers’ compensation industry is required. The candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office products; understand and utilize sales mgmt tools as well as possessing excellent analytic skills. Exceptional verbal, written & presentation skills are required.
